Sorry about the backtracking, i forgot about this hike! Back in July Matt, Mike, and I spent a Saturday exploring Big Cottonwood Canyon near Salt Lake.
Even though we had a map, we weren't quite sure where we were headed. 
We encountered few other hikers, so it ended up being pretty peaceful. It was somewhat disappointing though not reaching a specific destination before turning around, but we enjoyed the exercise and being outdoors (minus the snake i saw). 
Here's pictures of me and Matt, then me contemplating the meaning of life, and then showing off my great athleticism by tripping over absolutely nothing.
