I started the July 4th weekend with the baptism of my cousin's son up in Midway. So he would be..umm..let me consult my genealogy chart....my first cousin, once removed. Whheww. It was a fun opportunity to see most of the cousins who traveled in for the event.

Of course it wouldn't be a party without a blow-up water slide. I wanted to partake but I was above the age limit.
Later that evening, I crashed a friends BBQ and went with them to a rousing fireworks show in Pleasant Grove. Let me just say.... it was no Washington, D.C. The rate of fireworks launching was so slow I napped in between. Very, very exciting.
